Although Ed Kennedy was born and raised in Connecticut, the expansion of his airport parking company in 1988 necessitated a move for Ed and his family to the Dallas suburb of Coppell, Texas where he still resides.

Ed has been involved in NASCAR racing for over twenty years. He has raced in a variety of divisions including Figure Eight, Late Models, Busch North and Arca. His primary focus for the past 15 years has been in the NASCAR Modified division where he still competes.

Ed's love of Modified racing in the Northeast has earned him the nickname of "The Frequent Flyer" since he flies from Texas to the various east coast tracks each week during racing seaon to compete.

Ed races for the RSR Team headed by Ralph Solhem. Solhem's experience and expertise in the sport of racing is well known in racing circles and both he and Ed are excited about this season and beyond.
