Ed Kennedy - ARCA Series

A mid race spin puts a hault on a great run. Ed didnt have much in front of him in the way of cars he was running fifth after a restart and worked up to third. Ed made a move under the 2nd place car when the air was taken off the rear putting Ed into a 190mph spin. With some great driving he was able to keep it off the wall and out of the way of the field. After pitting for left side tires when the 00 was coming back around to change right sides the right front blew and ripped apart the fender. A lap was lost in the pits while patching up the right side. The areo package of the car was lost. Ed still managed to run some real good times and ended up 23rd. Again a special Thank You to the Shark Lounge !

Ed is looking now to practice. Without Nevin as a team member in the show. Ed will hook up with Greg Sacks as they look to draft to the front and take home a great finish!!!!

Ed had a good run and qualified 16th for Saturdays 200, which will air Live on Speed. Nevin George had a great run and ended up on the starting grid for his first time out, but after tech, his LR quarter was to low by an 1/8 of an inch and dq'd.... Nevin is upbeat and is already talking about Talladega. Teaming up with Ed again in the ARCA series

2-05-04 Morning practice went ok for Ed and the 00 he is currently 17th on the charts slowing just a little. The car is still looking good for qualifying. Ed is to go out 41st Nevin is to go out 36th and is currently 28th on the charts. Qualifying gets under way at 1:30

Both cars are in Daytona for practice and qualifying on Thursday at 1:30. Ed in the Shark Lounge #00 is currently 15th on the speed charts for the afternoon practice the morning ended up 16th. Ed bettered his time by 3tenths in the afternoon which he ran by himself without draft help as some of the cars above him in time had. There is one more practie in the morning then onto qualifying.

Nevin in the Shark Lounge #01 is currently 25th on the speed charts (also running by himself with out the help of the draft) qualifying should not be a problem for his superspeedway debut. There will be some more tweaking on the Chevy and Nevin should be ok. There where 55 cars that took time so both cars are looking good.

Ed to run the Advance Discount Auto Parts 200 at Daytona International Speedway. There is a healthy entry list of 62. Ed will be teamed up with Nevin George driving the #01. Qualifing gets under way Thursday Feb 5, 1:30pm. The team looks to have a very stong car after test sessions at Daytona and Talladega, turned some very fast laps. The 200 will be on Saturday Feb. 7 at 4pm airing live on Speed!

Testing in Talladega is under way. Fri test went well Ed posting 52.710 looking for a little more speed in Sat. test.

Sat going well Ed has picked up his speed he has posted a 52.44 which is 182.678 mph. Very happy with the car and looking for even more speed!

Daytona test:Final day of testing Ed post the 3rd quickest time. Now it will a little time off for the holiday then off to Talladega were both cars will test. Ed and Nevin

Ed posts the 10th quickest time in morning test (Friday)! Ed brings the car up to speed in the second test session. Ed ended up 11 fastest as he worked by himself.Other cars in the top ten drafted for their speed. Ed is very confident in the car and likes were he is at!

Nevin George will take the wheel in his super speedway debut on Saturday. The morning test went well for Nevin as he had Ed in the tower to spot and help him through his laps. He his bringing the car up to speed nicely in his debut. Stay tuned for more information
